Melissa Frances Wall Decor – by Darsie Bruno

Today I have a truly drool-worthy project to share with you done by Darsie Bruno using the ever-so-gorgeous shabby chic/vintage style items produced by Melissa Frances.  I’ll just show you snippets along with a little product talk and links, and you can check out the FULL project on Darsie’s blog.  Let’s get started:

Darsie’s home decor project started with 2 main components — the Hanger and the Chipboard Label.

These hangers are just to die for if you like doing home decor type projects.  They come in 3 styles and each style comes in 3 sizes -4″, 6″ and 8″.

This is the Scroll Hanger that Darsie used on her project today — she used the 6″ size.  You will note with this hanger that the clips are fixed in one position — meaning you can’t slide them around, they are where they are.

This is the Flower Clip Hanger — there are flowers attached to the clips.  With this style hanger the clips move — you can slide them along the bottom wire of the hanger, giving you some variation as to how far apart you want them to be, based on your project.

And this is the Clip Hanger.  Again, the clips will slide on the hanger, so you have some degree of flexibility as to where you want them placed to accomodate your project.

And this is the unaltered Chipboard Backdrop  Label that Darsie used.  I do want to point out how large these are — they measure 7″ x 9″ so you can get some idea of how nice and large your project will be.  They are packaged 3 Labels per package.

And here’s another peek at the same wall hanging, with the list of items used:
