Wednesday around here promises some clean and simple Christmas inspiration.  Yes, we do that often during this time of year, but on Wednesdays it is sure to happen!  Today Deb made a card that just speaks to me — SUPER clean and simple, quick and easy, and OH, so LOVELY!  Talk about letting a fabulous sheet of paper do the work for you!  Take a peek:

For my card today I used the NEW Countdown to Christmas by Melissa Frances – darling vintage inspired pad!

This card is a standard 5.5 x 4.25 using SU Very Vanilla cardstock.

The designer paper is Countdown to Christmas by Melissa Frances.

I, too, took advantage of the fun sheets to create the visual interest — that’s always a quick option!

The lace is I used is 1″ Cluny Lace, adhered to the card front with Scor Tape.

Seam Binding in Seafoam is wrapped around the panel.

Please note: Good Seam Binding color matches to this pad are:  Seafoam, Blue Jay, and Lipstick Red.

The pretty vintage looking rose is a Ruffle Blossom by Maya Road.

My sentiment is from JustRite’s Noel Christmas Ornaments, stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink, and cut with a small tag die from Spellbinders Back to Basics Tags.

On first glance this card may not look so clean and simple, but it is — at least quick and easy.  I kind of use the terms clean and simple synonymously with quick and easy and I know many wouldn’t agree with that — but, oh well, that’s how I look at it.
