Snowflake Legend – Beautiful Tags by Barb Schram
Barb has a way of creating the most gorgeous tags and she always finds very unique ways to use them. Today Barb is sharing a snowflake project and her beautiful tags turn her snowflakes from simple to totally WOW!!! Amazing projects! And further down I have a Valentine project to show you as well, also incorporating the use of tags.
Barb started by using Melissa Frances tags and embellished them to her heart’s content — take a look:
This is the first tag adorning a large white snowflake. Barb used a computer generated sentiment.
See the full project on Barb’s blog here which offers more explanation and photos.
This is the second tag adorning a very large, open, silver snowflake.

At the risk of being repetitous again, I’m going to show you a project from 2 years ago because it is timely, being a Valentine, and because it incorporates the use of TAGS, which is today’s theme. Take a look:
This is a Valentine pocket card, with a surprise inside!
Paper – Kaisercraft English Rose
Find all Kaisercraft 6×6 pads here.
This is the flap that opens. The scallop edging was a punch out from the paper pad. All the Kaisercraft pads have many pages of die-cut punch outs.
May Arts Ribbon: 5/8′ Crochet Lace in Ivory, 1/8″ and 1.25″ Silk in Pink, Satin String Leaves in Olive
Prima Flowers: Fairytale Roses used, Encore Roses would also be the perfect size
And here’s the inside pocket, filled with tiny tags on which you can write little love notes!
A Velcro Dot is used to hold the pocket card closed.
And this is a close up of the tags. Again, these tags were punch out die-cuts from the back of the paper pad. Similar die cuts are found in every Kaisercraft pad — fun pads to have on hand!
Fun project to make!
All items available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked.
