Today I made a card employing one of my favorite ways to create — just using the pretty paper as the focal point and adding a few more pretties — and DONE!  Prima’s Lyric Collection is so pretty –  I love the colors and it is definitely at the TOP of my list of the new pads out this season.

This card is 6.5 x 4.75″ to fit into an A6 Clear Box.

Cardstock:  SU Blush Blossom, Basic Gray

Stamp set: Just Because Vintage Labels, a clear set by JustRite

JustRite/Spellbinder’s co-branded die set:  Antique Labels One Dies (on sale)

I actually used 3 dies in the set to cut/layer this sentiment.

I always love ribbon and flowers.

Ribbon:  Seam Binding – Smokey Gray; Bow created on the Original Bow Easy

Flowers:  Prima Miss Godiva – Caramel

Pearls:  Kaisercraft – Blush and Pearl Flourish

Miscellaneous:  Versa Fine Ink – Smokey Gray; 3D Foam Squares

Here’s the inside — just trimmed up a bit with coordinating paper.

And here’s the card in its very own A6 Clear Box, protected until ready to give.

Presenting a card in a clear box always makes it seem so special!

This is the Lyric paper pad I used today, along with the Lyric Seam Binding Sampler.

Just Because Vintage Labels

This is the stamp set I used today.  I really love the smaller, delicate sentiments with the pretty frames.  So easy to work into your projects.

Antique Labels One Dies

This is the die set I used today.  I used the middle sized green die, and the ivory and purple dies.  Layering dies gives a GREAT look, even if they are just smaller sentiments.  In the case of today’s card, layering the dies gave my small sentiment more “presence” on this busy background.
