Bo Bunny Fright Delight – by Judy Rozema

Published by at 8 00 am under Bo Bunny,Halloween Cards

Halloween sure is different when you don’t have small children to dress up. It just comes and goes around here these years without much notice.  I remember all the costumes I sewed for our boys over the years.  I always made them matching costumes, but you can only do the matching thing for so long before they put a stop to it – LOL!  They were pumpkins, clowns, crayons, race car drivers, turtles, batman, to name a few.  I so enjoyed making all those costumes.  We had a huge trunk full by the time they outgrew the dress-up thing.  Sadly, they were all sold at rummage sales.  Now I wish I had kept them —

But I did purchase one Halloween item this year – LOL!  On our little 2 night trip to Duluth, MN at the end of August I was in Pier I, just looking.  Well, here was this manikin wearing a darling Halloween apron. For some reason, I just couldn’t forget her.  I kept walking back to look, just once more — LOL.  Finally I just bought the darn thing!!!  Having absolutely no use for it myself, I figured my daughter-in-law could wear it for their Halloween entertaining (if they do), or at school if they dress us, or even while she passes out candy on her porch.

Now, isn’t this just the cutest!!!  I love everything about it – the dots, ruffles, stripes, spider web layer, pom poms!

That spider web layer reminded me so much of this Spider Web Ribbon.

OK, so much for that aside, now let’s get on to Judy’s Halloween card for today, which is every bit as charming as the apron!

A “pretty” skull — gotta love it!  Yes, Halloween can be pretty!!!  And there are fabulous papers in this pad.

You can see Judy’s full post here.

Judy used:

Paper:  Fright Delight by Bo Bunny

Stamp:  Fright Delight by Bo Bunny *** (read below)

Ink:  VersaFine Onyx Black

Ribbon:  1/2′” Wrinkled Ribbon – Parrot Green (sold individually, by the full spool or in the Halloween Sampler)

Miscellaneous:  Kaisercraft Rhinestones – Purple; Scor-Tape; 3D Foam Squares

*** Sadly, we had issues with these stamps.  They were stuck super tight to the clear sheet they were on, making it very hard to pull off.  And Judy felt it didn’t stamp as well as she would have liked.

The last thing we ever want to do is mislead our readers/customers.  Since we had this issue with this particular stamp set, we’ve put ALL of our Bo Bunny stamps on sale for $ .01.  Yes, ONE PENNY. This way, if the stamp doesn’t work well for you, then you haven’t lost anything and we don’t have to feel bad that we misled you.

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our Bo Bunny papers and are so sorry we had this issue with these stamps.  Again, not sure this is the case with all their stamps, we have just elected to put them ALL on sale, just in case.
