Heirloom Ornament – by Darsie Bruno (Would you like to have it?)

Darsie certainly does have the Midas touch.  I do believe every sheet of paper she touches turns to gold! The gilt edge ornament she made for us today is certainly fit for a King and would be such a fabulous project to make for your friends to make them feel so very special. And though this project may look difficult, it really isn’t. Darsie just used a variety of dies, cut her pieces, gilded the edges and layered them up with dimensionals in between.  Add a simple sentiment, a Prima Poinsettia, silk bow and DONE!  LOVE this project so much.  There are a variety of Heirloom Ornament dies that could be used for similar ornaments, but I must admit this original from 2010 has always held a special place in my heart.  The shape is so beautifully vintage!  Well, let’s get back to the ornament Darsie made for today:

Stunning!  Note that Darsie even gilded the edges of the Prima Poinsettia with her gold pen.

And, YES!!!  Darsie is giving this gorgeous ornament away to one lucky blog viewer.

This flower pack has been discontinued by Prima, so I can’t get anymore.

When my current inventory is gone, they’re gone for good.  So sad as they’ve been super popular.
