Heidi’s Christmas card for today is a quick and easy one, though you may not think that on first appearance.  Heidi used an embossing folder to emboss a gold foil sheet (both by Spellbinders) and once embossed she lightly sanded the embossed image. She then added a pretty Merry Christmas that was heat embossed in gold and cut with a gorgeous die shape.  She added a couple pretty snowflake die cuts and that about did it.  Heidi produced this very striking and rich looking card with a minimal of effort, and we always love that!  The folder and all dies used today, including the stamp set and foil sheet are ALL reduced as a part of our continuing Christmas sale.  And just envision this technique used on any number of embossing folders, not only  holiday/wintery scenes.  What gorgeous backdrops can be created for your projects!
