If anyone might remember, back in January I attended a bridal shower where the color scheme was purple and green — GORGEOUS!  I made a card for the shower using Kaisercraft’s Violet Crush.  Well, this wedding was last Saturday and I again used Violet Crush for the pocket wedding card. I LOVE this paper paired with the celery green silk ribbon, so I kind of did a repeat, though the card is totally different, it does use most of the same supplies.  I’ll show you both so you can compare.  Let’s start with the new wedding card:

This is the pocket card for the wedding.

It’s hard to see, but the card front isn’t quite as long as the card back — you can see a bit of the lighter lavender color exposed on the bottom, which is the lower portion of the pocket on the inside.

This card is a bit larger at 6.5″ x 4.75″, made to fit perfectly into an A6 Clear Box for gifting.

Paper used for both cards: Violet Crush by Kaisercraft

Ink used for both cards: VersaFine Onyx Black

Ribbon used for both cards: May Arts 1.25″ Silk – Celery

Bows made on the Bow Easy.

Adhesives:  Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue; Scrapbook Adhesives Tape Runner; 3D Foam Squares, Scor Tape

I really love these smaller crystal swirls!

Hard to tell from this photo, but that is a pocket where one could insert cash, check or gift card.

1st Corinthians is a wonderful compliment to this stamp and another wedding favorite of mine!
