Always my Mother – by Heidi Blankenship
Today Heidi shares with us a beautiful, highly textured card for Mother’s Day (which is barely two weeks away). I’m certainly hoping for some warmer and more spring-like temps by then! She achieved her texture with the use of a 3D embossing folder by Spellbinders using the letterpress technique. Actually, we have a 2nd card to show you by Linda Duke as well, using the same folder with the same technique. This may look difficult, but it’s really so very easy. Heidi then layered a few die cut shapes onto her embossed background for a bit more height and texture and to showcase her pretty Mother’s Day sentiment. With the addition of a bit of ribbon and flower, Heidi was done. Take a look – I know you’ll enjoy both cards.
