Good Monday morning to everyone and WELCOME! Today begins our 12 Days of a Clean & Simple Christmas, a yearly event that our Design Team looks forward to with much anticipation.

We get to play with all the NEW products out for this Christmas season – paper, stamps, dies, embossing folders, ribbon and embellishments – and it’s our goal to bring them to you in a clean and simple fashion. After all, who doesn’t LOVE and NEED clean and simple as we prepare for the holidays. And, that being said, the styles of our various Design Team members varies greatly, ranging from truly clean and simple to a clean and simple version of typically elaborate work. So be prepared to see a wide range of “clean and simple” throughout these next 12 days. We’ll be posting projects both morning and evening to pack in just as much as we can. I have our first project today, so let’s get to it.

I have three cards to show you today, plus a new Christmas ribbon sampler.

Today’s cards all use pretty much the same supplies on each card, so that makes it nice and easy!

I chose a NEW paper pad by Kaisercraft that is filled with sheets containing weathered barn wood and pine branches with some holiday ornaments and glitz thrown in. Included are 2 sheets that are SOLID red glitter, and I used half of one of those sheets today.  I die cut all my sentiments from that sheet and used it on each card to make the little piping strip, so I still have 1 1/2 sheets of that beautiful red glitter left.

If you like the glitter look but don’t have a pad with a glitter sheet, using Glitter Tape is a good alternative.

LOVE the combination of nature and glitz in this pad.

Embellishments on all cards: Kaisercraft Rhinestones – Silver, Red

Adhesives: Tape Runner

Xyron X to make the tiny words sticky

1/8″ Scor Tape on 2nd card to adhere string as it is wrapped around card front

3D Foam Squares to elevate sentiments

Liquid Glue to apply bows

And here’s the last card. I made 3 to try to show you a nice variety of the sheets included in the pad.

As always, being a Kaisercraft pad, the last 4 pages are filled with punch out sentiments and borders.

I didn’t use this today, but wanted to show it to you as it goes so well with this paper pad. I did put this Ribbon Sampler together specifically to go with this paper pad, and I WILL be using it on my next projects with this paper!

Of course, the Burlap Center Stitch and the Burlap String are available individually as well.
