Metallic Cardstock Samples – by The Design Team
This was such a fun post for me to put together. We all love shiny and sparkly for the holidays, and the easiest way to incorporate that bit of glamour and glitz into your card or scrapbook projects is by simply using a metallic cardstock. The highly glossed, or mirror cardstock just so happens to be a favorite among our design team. They love to both die cut and dry emboss with it. We have the mirror cardstock available as well as a standard metallic, plus a few others. The Craft Foils by Spellbinders also do the trick! (They are more like thin sheets of metal, rather than paper). This evening I’m just going to show you some of the ways that our Design Team likes to use the metallic papers to add glitz without a lot of extra time or effort.
You can find all of our cardstock/specialty papers here.

And here’s a card I did using the mirror paper as a mat to an embossed sentiment. Can’t get much easier.
Simple but classy was the goal.
This sentiment is no longer available but any sentiment, for any occasion, works!
And this was a birthday card I made for our oldest son embossing the Spellbinders Craft Foil, then lightly sanding it will steel wool. Find the original post here.
On this tag Linda used the Spellbinders Craft Foil for the backing sheet, just peeking through – lovely. Find original post here.
Sheri embossed Spellbinders Craft Foil for this Christmas beauty. Find the original post here.
And I truly could go on and on. Our Design Team loves the sparkle and glitz from these papers and foils.
