IN STOCK – NEW Ken Oliver Papers
Oh my goodness! Be still my heart. The NEW Ken Oliver papers just arrived and I couldn’t be more enamored with a paper line. The paper quality is beyond compare. It’s heavier than most all designer papers and has a lovely light gloss. Very rich looking. And the images, well — what can I say. I’ll show them all to you further down. The Watercolored Memories collection is beyond gorgeous. For those of you who love the popular watercolor look in florals but have neither the time nor talent to create such beauties, this collection is THE answer! Wait until you see them! The second collection in stock is the Studio collection, filled with wonderful vintage inspired images giving you options for fabulous projects for either gender. I made two masculine cards with this collection. I’ll show you the three quick and easy (understatement!) cards I made first, then on to view the full collections. Here we go:
What did I tell you – GORGEOUS PAPER!
I wanted to show as much paper as possible. Just a bow and flowers added.
I used the 6×6 pad, but it is also available in 12×12.
Paper: Watercolored Memories by Ken Oliver
Ribbon: May Arts 1.25″ Silk Ribbon – Lavender
May Arts Metallic String Ribbon – White
Flowers: Kaisercraft Mini Paper Blooms – Coconut
Accents: Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Marker
Adhesives: Tape Runner, Crafters Pick Ultimate Glue
The paper has a light gloss to it, but I added some sparkle by going over the entire card front with my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Marker.
Small circular motion over the entire card front – only took a minute. Adds so much pretty sparkle!
A lovely silver embossed sentiment on the inside.
Stamp: Graceful Sentiments by JustRite
Ink: VersaMark, Ultra Fine Embossing Powder – Silver
This is the first card I made with Studio.
Again, I wanted to show as much paper as possible; thus, no embellishments.
I used the 6×6 pad, but it is also available in 12×12.
I stamped the sentiment right onto the paper. Having a light gloss, make sure you wait a minute for the ink to dry before handling it.

Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black
Accent: DecoArt Metallic Lustre Wax Finish – Gold Rush (applied with my finger to the card edge)
This is the 2nd card with the same paper pad and same stamp set. This card is 5.5″ square.
Note on both cards how I applied the gold edge with my fingers using the DecoArt Metallic Lustre Wax Finish. Most definitely, my FAVORITE new accent. Quick and easy. I was not one bit fussy with the application as the papers have a vintage look, so perfection is NOT what I was after.
(NOTE – the Gold Rush color is SOLD OUT and not available from the manufacturer at this time – coming, but it may be a while. We have other gorgeous, shimmery colors in stock that would work equally as well with this paper collection)

After your beautiful card I just had to have this paper pad in my collection, winging their way to me via my friend at the end of the month.
