2016 Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop
Welcome to the 2016 Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!
These hops are always so much fun! Today’s post is jam packed with so many things — a coffee themed project, some fabulous freebies with instructions on how to enter to win, links to check out TONS of beautiful coffee or beverage themed projects, and an invitation for YOU to play along!
I did a little recycle gift packaging project to share and have two different offerings of blog candy.
One is the Sponsorship Prize and one is a standard Blog Candy.
Read further down to see them both and for details on how to enter to win each!
We’ll start with my project for today and show the prizes at the end.
This is a recycled gas station coffee cup turned into fun gift packaging for a coffee loving friend.
I had also saved the sleeve, so I used that to trace my decorative paper band. Once cut out, it fit perfectly.
I adhered coffee themed twill to the top and bottom of the band, made a quick little gift tag and topped it off with a single flower.
I was done in a flash and I think it’s pretty cute!
Here’s the tag I made. I just cut it at the paper cutter – nothing fancy.
Here’s the flower on top. Easy peasy! We currently have these Prima flowers on closeout.
And what did I tuck inside the coffee cup as the gift?
Well, Coffee Bean Twill, of course. I think my crafty coffee loving friend will love her new twill!

Never too much coffee of any kind, including crafty. You always have wonderful projects. My colour is in the taupe, tan, dark chocolate, cream family with some shades of blue or pink–collecting several feathers right now to fit into the vintage theme.

If I need a favorite color combination would be pink and light brown, or light blue and light brown for patriotic colors red white and blue. I’m all over the place with colors, but when I use ribbon and lace, I seem to do more pinks and peach. I love everything in your sample picture!! What is it about ribbon and lace that just makes one feel all gushy inside?!! : )
