We were invited to not one, but TWO weddings today. I quickly made up two cards that were quick and easy. And, unusual for me, they do fit into a standard envelope.  We will be bringing them, but this is a good design for those needing to mail their card. Take a look:

I love the simplicity, yet elegance. The die does it all, paired with this simple silk ribbon treatment.

To shirr your ribbon like this, attach it first at the back of the panel, then take a matching piece of 1/4″ silk and cinch it tight around the middle, cutting your tails short, then apply the sentiment circle on top with foam dimensionals.

And here’s the insides, using my favorite wedding scripture from 1 Corinthians 13.

Delicata Golden Glitz ink was used. It’s such a lovely, shimmery ink with no embossing required.

This ink is the answer to the prayers of many.

Do you like the look of embossing but not necessarily the hassle, the mess, the fuss?

This ink is a wonderful substitute (or replacement) for heat embossing.

It’s a rich, metallic pigment ink. It stamps beautifully but does need a bit of drying time. When dried, it is metallic and glistens beautifully.  You don’t get the raised dimension of heat embossing, but it is equally as pretty.
