We have a darling home decor project today from Darsie. This is such a fun idea! Darsie created a pumpkin from a balloon, complete with a light inside, and decorated the stem with oak leaves and striped ribbon. You have to see this one for yourself. Words can not do it justice. Take a look:

Wouldn’t you love to make one for yourself! Goodness – how lovely is this!!!

Briefly, Darsie used a water balloon wrapped in ivory burlap string and covered with Elmer’s Glue and Distress Glitter. Dry overnight. Pop the balloon. Wire brush the pumpkin to distress it.

Stem created from brown burlap string and glue wrapped around a marker, allow to dry. Florist wire used for the curlie-q’s with a battery operated candle to light it up.
