Day 4 – The 12 Days of Christmas – by Darsie Bruno

.. and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6

I was totally smitten with Darsie’s card today, and when you take a peek you’ll know why. Using our Jesus stamp set Darsie created a very subtle all-over background. The neutral/pastel color combination here is beautiful, accented in gold, and I simply adore the holly/silk ribbon cluster. Take a look:

This is a wonderful design for that extra special Christmas card!

The sparkly holly leaves are so delicate and pretty!

Such a gorgeous and popular die set.

Interesting to note is how Darsie used the long narrow label die from this set. Take a peek back up at her card and see that she stamped her sentiment onto a rectangle, then merely used the filigree end of the die cut that she tucked in behind the sentiment panel. Who would have known! A GREAT way to stretch the use of your dies.

All items used for the above project available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
