Tags for Bottled Gifts – by Sharon Johnson
We had our last Mini Make-N-Take Class for 2016 yesterday and we made hanging tags for bottles. The ladies had a blast and it was so fun to hear all their gifting ideas. Many were putting together gift baskets filled with local Michigan products, so the tags worked perfectly for their syrup, wine and sparkling juice purchases. Take a look:
These are the syrup bottle tags.
The Pearlescent Quartz White paper looked especially beautiful against the golden syrup.
This is a super quick project.
Cut your paper 3 x 6″. Score at 3″. Die cut your hole to the size needed for your bottle.
Apply ribbon, die cuts and sequins – done!!!
TIP: Apply 1/8″ Scor Tape to back of tag. It holds the gold string from slipping as you wrap it around.
Here’s what I used:
Paper: Luxury Pearlescent Metallic 105# Cardstock – Quartz White
Die Cuts: Kaisercraft Collectables – Glisten
Dies: Spellbinders Standard Circle Nesties
Ribbon: May Arts Metallic String – Gold
Embellishments: Sequins – Gold
Adhesives: 3D Foam Squares, Ranger Glossy Accents (to adhere sequins)
These tags more commonly used on wine bottles are displayed on sparkling juice bottle.
These are equally as easy as the syrup tags, just a bit more embellishing.
Cut these tags 3 x 8.5″. Score at 3″. Die cut your hole.
Here’s what I used:
Stamps: Bottle 1 – Jesus by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps
Bottle 2 – Merry Christmas by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps
Bottle 3 – Christmas Blessings by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps

These tags are beautiful! They are unique and I LOVE each and every one. On the third bottle of syrup is the gold ornament is glowing? Is it done with a sparkle ink, did you use Wink of Stella or is it my computer? It has a wonderful glow in the center also. TFS.
