Rose Sympathy – by Sharon Johnson

Today I have a feminine sympathy card to share. It features a long stemmed rose and a scrunchy bow and is all done up in pink. This card was a pretty quick make using my favorite sympathy stamp set combined with our Thinking of You Rose. Take a look:

This card is a standard A2 size and was given in an A2 Clear Box.

And here’s the inside.

I have a really hard time making a sympathy card and NOT including Psalm 23 either on the card front or on the inside. I find Psalm 23 so very soothing and perfect for sympathy cards.

Here’s my supply list:

Stamps: Thinking of You Rose by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps

Deepest Sympathy by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps (sentiments, inside and out)

Paper: I used a scrap from a pad no longer available

ANY of the Kaisercraft feminine pads in the 6.5″ size would work beautifully

Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black (sentiments)

Memento Tuxedo Black (rose) (the rose is colored with Copics)

Die: Rose by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps

Stitched Oval and Vine by JustRite (oval sentiment)

Ribbon: Seam Binding – Baby Pink

Bow made with the Original Bow Easy

Wilton Paper Doily – 4″ White
