We created this fun little 3 pennant banner at one of our classes a month or two ago. I just forgot to post it. But better late than never, right? This was a fun one to make.  We applied magnets to the back of each pennant so it can be hung on the frig. I love it on my frig! Take a look:

This banner is roughly 12″ wide and each pennant is 5.5″ in height.

Making these as singles to hang on knobs or hooks would be fun, too!

In fact, many in class elected to do just that, giving themselves several small gifts to give.

The pennant shapes were cut with a die (all products linked further down).

I made my rosette. I was using a 6″ paper pad, so I cut two 6″ strips at 1.5″ wide, scored every 1/4″, then folded the pleats. After pleating I attached the two pieces with Scor Tape, then attached the two remaining ends to create my rosette, using punched circles for the centers (when glued on these hold it into shape).

If you’ve never made a rosette, give it a try. They are SUPER FUN!

The stamped Welcome Fall is from our stamp set bearing the same name.

This banner was very quick and easy to put together using Graphic 45 chipboard.

I cut the little hanging fishtail with another die.

I love this fun gingham ribbon in 2 different widths.

All bows were made using the Bow Easy.

The holes along the banner top (where I threaded the ribbon) were die cut with a little hole die from another fun die set.

Just a closer look at the ribbon/bows and the holes in the banner top to thread the ribbon.

And here’s the back that I magnetized to hang on my frig.

I cut business sized magnets lengthwise on the diagonal to fit the banners – perfect!

Today I only used the small hole dies for the top of my banner to thread the ribbon. The two oval holes are in one die, so they are very easy to use
