Patriotic Thank You – by Holly McMillen
Good Monday morning!
This begins week two showcasing our NEW April Release. Last week we concentrated on graduation and other congratulatory events using two of our new sets. This week we will concentrate on the remaining three sets. There are two All Occasion Sentiment sets and the Patriotic Sentiments that Holly is using today. Take a look:
What a fun card and Holly made it flat for mailing – total bonus!!!
I love the traditional red, white and blue. Holly didn’t have a lot of paper on hand with patriotic themes or colors, so she scrounged through her stash and pulled the sheets used here from two different Christmas pads. Love that! Where there’s a will, there’s a way! Take a second look at your Christmas pads, ladies – you may be surprised at what you can pull out for your summer patriotic themed cards!

The stars were stamped and then hand cut.
Holly always adds that extra special touch to the card inside as well.
That’s a wonderful way to use up a lot of little scraps and strips that get left.

Such an easy way to really dress up a project.
I love how Holly used this die today. Just the simple scallop edge in navy reminds me of a bunting used for patriotic decor during the 4th of July and other events – love it!
