All Occasion Sentiments and Patriotic Blog Hop – Stamp Simply Clear Stamps
Welcome to today’s Blog Hop. This week we are showcasing three sets from our NEW April Release. Last week we concentrated on graduation and other congratulatory events. This week we will concentrate on the remaining three sets – All Occasion Sentiments SET 1 and SET 2 and Patriotic Sentiments.
I made a Mother’s Day card that I’ll show you first, then on to the link list with more projects to inspire!
Be sure to scroll all the way down to the LINK LIST!
The paper used was so pretty I couldn’t cover it up, so I wanted my card to be large to show as much as I could.
The card is 5 x 7.5″.
The paper is Floral Shoppe by Graphic 45 – WOW! What a collection!
The Happy Mother’s Day sentiment is from our All Occasion Sentiments SET 1.
This beautiful bow was all the dressing my card needed. It is made on the Original Bow Easy. It is a double loop bow, but made just by using 2 strands of ribbon and created as a single loop bow. Easy peasy!
And, if truth be told, this card did look just wonderful before the bow was added if one is preferring a flat for mailing card. The paper does the trick — for sure!
Here’s my supply list:
Stamps: All Occasion Sentiments SET 1 by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps
Paper: Floral Shoppe by Graphic 45 – 8×8
Ribbon: May Arts 1.25″ Silk Ribbon – Pink, Salmon
Bow made on the Original Bow Easy
Embellishments: Petaloo Botanica Minis – White
Adhesives: EZ Runner, Liquid Glue

Beautiful card design! I love that the stamp sets are so interchangeable…so neat that you have designed them so!
Wonderful card! Beautiful paper and great stamp set! Thanks for sharing.
Gorgeous card! So very girlie! I <3 that!
Sharon,You always have the most incredible and most beautiful paper sets anywhere!
I love the paper you used on your Mother’s Day card! I need it! My favorite stamp set from the New Releases this month is the set you used with such feminine, lovely handwriting. I LOVE it!
About your bow…i bought the Original Bow Easy from you a long time ago! I don’t quite understand how to make this beautiful bow. Do you simply cut two ribbons the same length and put them through while holding both pieces together? Or making them 1 bow at a time? Is the flower glued on or a wire wrapped around the center? THANK YOU so much, Sharon for helping my bows something Gorgeous!

Traci – You have it right. I cut two pieces of ribbon, hold them together, one on top of the other, and just wrap this double ribbon around the legs once. When done, it gives us 2 loops, one of each color. Separate them so they look nice.
And I use glue. I am a heavy glue-er – LOL. I add liquid glue to the back of the bow and hold it in place for a bit. Then I add liquid glue to the back of each flower and get them placed how I like them. I do use a fair amount of glue, so it takes some time for it to dry completely. And as it is drying, I keep checking and pushing down on them, to secure them well. But once dry, they are on tight like cement and will NEVER fall off or wiggle.
Hope that helps.
