I used to have so much fun with Halloween when our boys were little. Now, it holds little to no meaning, other than the fun memories of all the costumes I made for them over the years and the fun parties they enjoyed in our little rural community. One of my biggest regrets is that I did not save all those Halloween costumes. I had a huge trunk full, all lovingly made by me. And at some point I sold them all, so sadly. Oh, the memories spurred by this card from Holly. Take a look:

That gorgeous spooky background was created with a stencil and I love the beautiful moon effect.

It’s a fun card that’s flat for mailing, too!

The pumpkin is colored and die cut while the sentiment is scribbled with the same markers for some added color and POP!

I really like how the pumpkin and sentiment banner extend beyond the card edge just a bit.
