How often do we resort to giving gift cards for Christmas? And as much fun as it is to buy a gift and wrap it up, in all honesty, a gift card is often the better choice, for so many reasons. Today Deb is sharing the perfect pocket card to enclose a gift card. And this is a great year-round design, too, just swapping out images/sentiments. Take a look:

To share a bit of Deb’s thought process, when she started creating this, she was going for a masculine card. But, as things happen, she ended up adding pearls, a bow and a flower. Which are all absolutely lovely additions. But, for just a minute, envision the card without those additions. YES, we now have a perfect masculine card, too!

This is a wonderful card design!

Here’s how it functions – the plaid panel just slips out of the pocket.

To enclose a gift card you’d just tuck it in the pocket and then cover it up with the panel.

These are Deb’s pretty additions that changed this from a masculine to a feminine card.

Either way, it’s just so pretty!
