I look for sentiment stamps that are different from what i already have. I love when stamp sets can be used in multiple ways.
What I look for in a stamp set pretty much changes day to day. One day I’ll be in a flower mood, but the next day I want a stamp that has pretty hair. It depends on what I’m working on or what I feel like coloring. Happy New Year!! 🥳

Lovely cards and papers! I put a lot of thought into a stamp set before I purchase it. I’m always looking for something different from what I already have and something that I will get a lot of use from. Trendy isn’t really my thing. I like classic sentiments that speak to me, beautiful floral images, and cute critters that warm my heart.
I love that this blog hop is introducing me to companies that are new to me – like yours. When purchasing a new stamp set I look for versatility and for something that’s not to trendy. I want to be able to use it over time and not just for now. I love to find new sentiments and images I can use for masculine cards.

I look for versatility or longevity. I either need to be able to use it in many ways or it needs to stand the test of time.
I look for a variety of things in a stamp set but clarity is key. I like a nice crisp stamped sentiment and/or image. Sometimes I like oversized sentiments, but other times I need a small one for spacing. It just depends on the project. I do consider the company’s reputation, price, and shipping policy too. Most of my cards are made to encourage the elderly so I look for sentiments and imagery that appeals mostly to their generation.

Love these elegant cards. Very clean and beautiful. I normally pick up stamps that I can use for multiple techniques and occasions. I love background and layering stamp sets. I also like sentiment sets that have a good mix of fonts.

When I am considering whether to buy a stamp set I try to imagine all the ways that I can use it and how versatile it will be. Cheers.
I look for things that tie into my current projects bit also items that appeal to my creativity and will be go to items like butterflies, coffee, and motivational sentiments.
I look for unique sayings , fun font styles, and descriptive stamo designs
I like clean yet fun fonts … sentiments with lots of uses … and images that don’t necessarily need to be colored to be fun.

I love Christmas stamps and the flower stamps and also phrases I pretty much like anything that is versatile and be used for many different occasions. Love the clean and simple designs of these cards. Was thinking of how this layout would look for Christmas cards or birthday cards. Beautiful!!!!!

what I look for in a stamp set is its variety of sentiments, and I love flowers and cutsey type stamps
I like a stamp set that uses up the space provided. I like something versatile that has many uses, and mostly I like stamp sets that have an inside and matching outside sentiments. There are a few out there but there should be so many more… I dont feel a card is complete without something inside it. I’m not good with making everything a basic note card.

Thank you for the chance to win. I look for stamps that I think will be liked in the places I donate them to. For foster kids I look for things that interest kids and encouraging words, for a nursing home I look for seasonal stamps that are pretty and for rescue I look for dog stamps.

These are such pretty cards! I look for pretty fonts, not run-of-the-mill Times/Courier that you could easily type out on the computer or typewriter. And unusual sentiments, not the over-used Bloom Where You Are Planted, variety. I also keep my eye out for Portuguese sentiments as I have a ton of friends from Brazil I need to send cards to regularly, but finding them is rare. Thanks for sponsoring this fun hop!
I often look for images that I can color, because I love to do that. And extra points if there are matching dies. Beyond that, I’m always on the lookout for occasion sentiments with unusual or beautiful fonts. Happy 2019!

I love those paper patterns, and the cards. As for what I look for in a stamp, I guess first would be versatility – can it be used for more than one project type. Can I use it to deboss on texture paste, or as a background on a jewelry project too? Is there interesting texture also. Also, a sense of humour is nice too.

I love clear stamps with cute whimsical designs such as adorable animals but especially cat stamps! When it comes to sentiments, I like sets with versatility and a cute font.
When I look for a stamp set – It has to be versatile and can be used in multiple ways. Ones that I can color, watercolor etc. has to have good sentiments with it. Sentiments have to be out of the box. Most sentiments say the same thing in a variety of ways. I want sentiments that say” You make the world a better place” or “The world is better because you are in it”.

I like stamp sets that have multiple sentiments that are super versatile! And they need to have the correct (British) spelling – ie. MUM instead of MOM! hehe
I am a moody person… not really, but I do look for whatever my mood or mindset is driving me towards. Some days it is whimsical, others sentimental, sometimes fun, others serious. I like nature all the time, but an elephant, fairy, mouse or frog will catch my attention every time and a naked tree always beckons. (Tree without leaves)

When I’m looking for a stamp set, I’m looking for something that reminds me of my friends and family, I think realism is a plus, I also look for larger sentiments(My friends and I are in our fifty’s and it’s not worth straining to see items.), and I look for extra details in each stamp. I’m amazed at the talented people out there!

When I buy stamp sets, I look for sentiments that I do not already have, and in a style that I like. I also like sets that I know I will be able to use for multiple things. Versatility is important.

I like the cards you made. They look complex but there are only a few pieces. When I am purchasing a stamp set these days I am looking for good sentiments that I would actually say myself. I also like larger sentiment in an attractive font and a carry over sentiment for the inside of the card.
I like sets that are versatile . Like having a bell that I can turn upside down and it can be a cloche! My first project this year will be Thank you cards for my daughter who is having a baby next month!

Hello and Happy New Year!!! I love all stamp sets but I especially like ones that have 1 or 2 images in addition to the sentiments. Most of the cards I make are donated to the troops and I like to give them a variety of different things. I just visited the store and omg you have some amazing products! When I’m considering a stamp set, I look to see how versatile it is. I don’t like buying a stamp set that can only be used for one or two cards. My favorite sets have several images, and at least 3 or 4 included sentiments. I also like stamp sets that are a bit on the playful side. Thank you.
There isn’t really a formula I have for picking a stamp set. My taste is quite eclectic. I do make a lot of cards so funny “inside-out” sentiments with matching images are great.
When I look at a stamp set to add to my collection, I want the sentiments to be useful, not necessarily a repeat from my collection, and I prefer the set to have an inside sentiment. Also, if the stamp set has critters or objects, that it has coordinating die sets.

what an interesting shop you have. i look for versatility – can i use the image in a number of different ways/seasons? i look for quality – is this going to stand up over the test of time and use? will it take pigment and dye ink and still come clean? will it start to dissolve if i leave it too long between cleanings? is it thick enough for me to get a clean image with an acrylic block as well as a stamping tool? In sentiments, i look for ease of readability, something i don’t already have, an odd expression that expresses me and not just a general blah.
When shopping for stamps I looks for something that inspired me to create! I love when I see a stamp and ideas for cards start coming. I also look for versatility, like many others have said. I want to get use out of the investment and be able to use it over and over!

When I consider buying a stamp set I try to think of all the different uses I can get out of it (occasions, styles, combining it with other sets, etc) so that I know I am spending wisely. There are so many that I really love but like most I can’t buy everything I want lol. It all comes down to “need to have” and “want to have” however sometimes “want to have” wins out 🙂

What do I look for in a stamp set? love one that has affordable coordinating dies, with lovely interesting font mixes, love some good sentiments that will get a lot of use….not a sentiment that will sit in the pack & never see ink, and I sometimes like beauty but other times like whimsical.

Boy, that’s tough. I look for reusability and things that I can use with the supplies I have. So, for instance, I recently received several Altenew ink packs, so I’ve been looking at layering stamps, because I have the gradients of ink to use them easily. I’m also getting into sentiment stamps now, because I feel like I’ve built up a lot of images, and I want to be able to use them for lots of different occasions. In sentiments I look for novelty, whether that’s in the wording or in sizing, font, etc. I feel like this was a less than helpful comment, but that’s what I look for! I tend to look for something I can colour. With copies or watercolours so I love details. I’m a huge fan of flower stamp sets
I don’t have a particular style. I look for unique stamp and die sets and they must be able to coordinate with what I already have. The sentiment stamps should be crisp when stamped as well as embossed.

The main thing I look for is does the set speak to me. The other is a bunch of samples with the set. Sometimes it is hard to picture projects with certain stamps and I’m definitely influenced if I see really good samples!

My decision is usually based on whether I will use it right away for a card or not. If it’s just cute but I am not going to use it for a specific card I generally will wait.
I like a multitude of styles from cute critters to elegant florals. When I am looking at a stamp set I ask myself whether it is unique, something different that I don’t have and something that I couldn’t create on my own and that could be for more than one occasion. For greetings or verses, I’m not quite sure how to describe what I mean but I look for something that isn’t just a straight plain font. If I could print out the greeting or verse on my computer, I’m less inclined to buy a stamp set. But if some/part of the greeting or verse is typeset differently – embellished first letter or different lines are different fonts, then I’m more likely to buy it.

That is a really good question. I know I look for something that I think is really attractive whether it’s a beautiful flower a really pretty butterfly, it Has to be something that I don’t already have, but it adds to what I do have.
