I had fun making this birthday card for a dear friend using our NEW Birthday Sentiments stamp set. Pretty papers and pretty bows are kind of my thing, my true love, dating waaaaay back, so I ran with it on this card.

This is really a simple card to make.

Choosing pretty papers as the starting point always gets the ball rolling for me.

This bow was made on the Original Bow Easy.

I used double ribbon (pink and grey) as I wrapped about 4 times around the legs, giving me 8 loops.

Two of my favorite flowers were added to the bow center.

I use liquid glue, and lots of it, to glue my flowers down.  Once my bow is glued in place, I add the flowers and press and hold for a while until the glue starts to take. Then I monitor it for another 10 minutes or so and keep pressing the flowers down.  Once dried, my floral cluster is truly cemented on and will NEVER come off. It is rock solid. Lots of liquid glue that dries clear is the key. Hot glue would work, too.
