Easter Cross – by Deb Saaranen
Deb’s card today is filled with the freshness of spring and the renewing of life we receive through the Cross and all that it represents. The card is flat for mailing and will surely be treasured by the lucky recipient. Take a look:
This card is simply lovely using gorgeous papers from Graphic 45.
The cross was cut from watercolor paper and sponged with oxide ink and placed atop a beautiful vellum oval.
Deb often cuts her crosses from watercolor paper to give them more texture and presence.
Sometimes it’s just the very simplest things, and this card is a great example of simplicity at its best.
Likewise, the card inside conveys an Easter message so simply and so perfectly.
