Warm Winter Wishes – by Deb Felts

I love the unexpected when playing with stamps and dies. Today Deb made a fun coffee cup using our JAVA die set and topped it off with a lovely Winter Poinsettia cluster. And the result is FABULOUS!!! Take a look:

Now, just how much fun is this!!!

What a great card to gift a friend.

It is festive and reminiscent of those chilly winter nights with a warm cup of your favorite drink in hand.

The poinsettia image is colored with Copics.

The little green sprig is cut from the same die set (Floral Cluster) and is also tinted with Copics. I love the sweet little accent piece it makes with a simple twine bow and enamel dot.

The coffee cup portion of the card was cut as a top fold card, allowing it to open up.

The die cut poinsettia was adhered to the front of the cup, and it looks like Deb cut the cluster shape twice for added strength and dimension on top of the cup.

It just doesn’t get any more fun than this, while still keeping the project simple and easy to create.
