Happy 4th of July – by Deb Felts
Happy 4th to all! God Bless the USA!
Deb is here today with a unique card (in many respects). She had the need to send a get well card to a military man so she created her card today as a combination thank you for your service, hello and get well card. She also used a most interesting fold that I have never seen before. It sure is a fun one – take a look:
This is the card front. What an interesting shape, giving the card two pockets.
It’s called a Twisted Card, and though it looks complicated, it’s super simple to make.
This tutorial by KellyJean shows you how.
Using the coordinating patriotic papers for this project was just perfect!
Here’s a closer look at the front.
Gold mirror paper was used to die cut the star and the sentiment was embossed in gold.
Here’s the left inside.
More of those gold stars and I {{{ love }}} how Deb cut the heart shape to resemble the flag.
And here’s the right inside with another pocket.
And this shot from above shows you the overall shape of the card.
