Beautiful Birch – by Holly McMillen
Good Monday morning to all!
This week we are featuring cards for a variety of purposes, but all with a fall theme. It is that time of year. Holly’s card today features a forest of beautiful birch trees that she created using a stencil and distress ink, topped off with a lovely sentiment and some die cut leaves. Easy peasy, fun to create and lovely to behold!
And the watercolor paper, distress inks and stencils are ALL ON SALE!
The warm fall colors in the inked background are enhanced with the mirror gold framing – just beautiful!
I always love the look of birch trees in the woods, and Holly’s birch trees are equally as lovely and inviting.
Holly used a dauber to sponge on her multi-color fall background with distress inks.
A simple sentiment with some die cut leaves in coordinating fall colors are all this beautiful background needed.
We are all loving those cute little leafy sprig dies.
This card makes me want to pull out some stencils and distress inks!
