A Cup of Java – by Deb Saaranen

(Find our original Coffee Lovers Blog Hop post here)

We are so happy to have Deb Saaranen back with us. She has been living in various places around the globe for the past nine years and is finally home for good — YAY!!! The card she made has been entered into the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and I wanted to share it here, too. It uses our A Cup of Java die set and some pretty fabulous papers from Craft Consortium. Take a look:

Deb’s card is square and a fairly simple make using just dies – no stamping at all!

The beautiful papers are from a pad called Eastern Influences by Craft Consortium.

Can’t tell you how much I love that large mug and die cut JAVA from those papers.

To create this “thick” JAVA, Deb cut it three times using watercolor paper (which is substantially thicker than a standard card stock) and then cut once more from the designer paper, gluing them all together using a Quickie Glue Pen.

{{{ LOVE }}} this look! So stunning and rich!

You can find Deb’s post on her blog here.

Deb used:
