Holly starts our week off with a wonderfully rustic birthday card.  Holly used die cut trees from our O Christmas Tree set on this card and I am blown away by what a gorgeous rustic birthday card this works up into. I love it. Take a look:

I love this fairly simple card – easy to create, yet so pleasing to the eye!

The woodgrain paper is a perfect backdrop for those distressed trees.

I’ve always enjoyed monochromatic color schemes and this one in brown tones is perfectly rustic and perfectly lovely!

Holly tucked one tree behind the border strip and another behind the sentiment strip, creating just enough elevation for interest.

A bit of burlap string and a few copper brads are the only embellishments.

A beautifully rustic birthday card for guy or gal alike!!!
