I have always loved to create little works of art to hang around the house on hooks or cabinet knobs so, of course, I was giddy with delight over Holly’s project today. She created a trio of hanging hearts as Valentines. I love the crisp red and white and how they remind me of those nostalgic Valentine candy boxes and cards of days gone by.

These were quite simple to make and they sure do make a WOW! statement.

Wouldn’t these be pretty little table favors or gifts for a ladies gathering at this time of year?

Holly die cut the hearts, added a paper doily, embellished with an assortment of pretty flowers, added her sentiment tag and finished off with a baker’s twine string to hang.

Here’s a little closer look at two of Holly’s hearts.

Each heart has slight variations.

I think the sentiment ‘to say I love you’ is absolutely perfect.

This sentiment is one of many included in our Floral Cluster Spring Pansies set.
