Deb is with us today sharing a very cheery birthday card with a country flair. Gingham and sunflowers – what could be more country than that! It is an absolute delight. Take a look:

So lovely, so simple and flat for mailing, too!

The subtle checked background allows both the sunflower and the black sentiment panel to just POP!

The sunflower is from our set called Sunflower Season.

The checked paper is from the Gingham Farm collection by My Mind’s Eye.

Deb stamped and embossed her sunflower in black on watercolor paper.

She then watercolored the image using Tim Holtz Distress Inks and then die cut the sunflower.

Likewise, the birthday sentiment was stamped and embossed in white on black cardstock with a sentiment from our Birthday Sentiments set and cut with one of the dies from our Fishtail Sentiment Banners die set.

Such a gorgeous card sending birthday wishes!
