I hope you had a lovely Easter Sunday. As different as it may have been, I hope you were able to make the most of it.

This evening I have a card to kick off our week of Mother’s Day inspiration. Do you realize Mother’s Day is less than a month away? WOW!!!  Even during these somewhat difficult times, the time seems to pass by so quickly. My card today is just a bit fancier because sometimes it’s just fun to do that! Take a look:

This card is larger than most at 5.25 x 7.25″.

I wanted to gift this card in a 5 x 7 Clear Box (A7), which actually measures over 5 x 7″ to accommodate an envelope for a 5 x 7″ card. So to fill the box with a perfect fit, I made the card 5.25″ x 7.25″ and the box looks made to order!

I meant to snap a photo of the card in the box, but I forgot. It’s a very classy way to gift a card with bulk, and is sure to impress!

The scripture verse is from our Thinking of You Rose set and the tulip is from our set called Get Well Tulip, while the Mother’s Day greeting is in our set called All Occasion Sentiments SET 1.

I love the Hemstitch Rectangle die the tulip is mounted on – that is such a pretty series of dies!

For the floral cluster I used 1/4″ Silk and made a quad-loop bow on the Original Bow Easy and then just glued on assorted smaller flowers.

Those luscious papers are from the Garden Goddess collection by Graphic 45 – so very, very pretty!

I had so much fun making this card.
