Deb is here today as we continue showcasing our NEW and FUN Stick Family Release. Deb has a couple of cards to share with us, each portraying a different family. She dressed her first family by paper piecing their outfits, so let’s take a look:
Since Deb’s family was so large she made a longer, more slimline type of card to accommodate the entire bunch!
The papers Deb used are from the So Rad collection by Simple Stories.
Note that Deb did some machine stitching up on the sentiment banner. FUN!
Deb chose fun prints from the paper pad to create the various outfit.
The coloring was done with Prismacolor pencils.
This is one stylishly coordinated family!
Not familiar with paper piecing? It’s fun and easy. After stamping your stick person onto the white paper, stamp again onto a sheet of designer paper. Once stamped, then cut out (with smaller detail scissors) just the outfit portion and adhere with glue over the original stamped person. It’s pretty much like playing with paper dolls! But beware, it can be rather addicting!

Deb created this as a new baby card, extending Congrats to the new family of three.
And how dapper is that bearded Dad – LOL.
I love the titles/labels above their heads.
These images were colored with Copic markers.
