Good morning to all! Deb is here today sharing a super fun project she made for a young boy who has recently become a BIG brother. With so much attention always going towards the newborn baby, Deb wanted to make a gift just for him. She nailed it! I love this coloring book she made from our Stick Family release along with the Crayola marker bundle. Take a look:

The My Family & My Friends coloring book was customized for this new BIG brother.

It’s so much fun to customize gifts, especially for kids – they love it!

Deb created a cloud-like background and grassy base with inks.

Note how she masked off the top of each head, making it easier for this young child to add whatever hair he wants with his new markers.

The clothes were left white so he can color each outfit.

Deb did color in the skin tones.

The Dad and Mom are stamps included in the set, but note how Deb used a black multiliner to add Cody. It’s an easy font to replicate by hand if you want to add specific names to any of your projects.

Deb found the perfect paper for her coloring book cover in the Kaleidoscope paper pad by Graphic 45.

She also backed each tag with a fun print from the same paper pad.

The brightly colored ribbon is our popular Faux Canvas that Deb uses so often.

This is a fabulous and fun gift idea to make for any child at any time.

And I’m not so sure who will have more fun with it – the one making it or the child receiving it!
