Good Monday morning on this Memorial Day 2020.

Today is the day when we solemnly remember and honor all those who have served our country and in the process lost their own lives. What greater sacrifice can be made? We extend our thanks, our deep appreciation and our love to all those who have served our country, who have lost their own lives in the process and to their families for their great sacrifice as well.   Thank you.

For the past week we have been showcasing patriotic themed cards and we continue with many more this week.

Holly created this lovely card with clean and simple appeal using our NEW release – Old Glory.

She stamped a variety of sentiments in the set onto white cardstock and then cut out the US with the coordinating die.

Holly used the Quatrefoil embossing folder for her background.

I love the added texture and that is one of my all time FAV embossing folders. It seems to work so well for such a variety of themes.

The stars cut with the same die set make fun embellishments with the enamel dots on top.

A fun card using the US die as a stand alone die.

We have one more card to show you today as well.  It was created by Katie Stanton who on occasion pops in as a Guest Designer with a project to share.

Katie white embossed the flag/map onto navy cardstock and I love the look when mounted on the woodgrain background paper.

The simple USA in the corner is the perfect sentiment for this card.

She added a diagonal strip of paper and ribbon and some glitter covered stars for sparkle.
