Lower Michigan Mini Release – Stamp Simply Clear Stamps

Good Sunday morning to all! Wishing you a blessed day today!!!

We have something super FUN to share today. You fellow Michiganders may recall that shortly before Christmas we came out with our Yooper stamp and die set. It was so well received (thank you, thank you, thank you!) and we got so many requests for a Lower Michigan counterpart that we did just that. We are super excited to show these NEW sets to you today along with a few card samples.

Find our complete Michigan Series here.

We have added two new stamp sets and one new die set in a variety of bundled options.

Lower Peninsula of Michigan (The Mitten) stamp set – features the map of the mitten along with fun sentiments specific to life in the mitten.

Lower Peninsula of Michigan (The Mitten) die set – features a die to cut the mitten as well as 8 small map markers. These markers are all connected so you can run them through your die cut machine as one piece, making them very user friendly. I’m sure you’ll find a lot of additional uses for these sweet, small shapes.

Michigan Facts stamp set – features a variety of sentiments and images relating to life in Michigan and can be used with both the Yooper and the Mitten sets. This set contains 5 images to make your your projects even more fun and reflective of life in our beautiful state.

All three stamp sets in our Michigan series are interchangeable and work so well together, expanding your options.

The Lower Peninsula die is appropriately sized to work with the Upper Peninsula die when placed in the proper state configuration.  If you are going to use both dies to make a full state card or layout, you’ll need at least a 5.5 x 5.5″ base.

Now let’s take a look at a couple of cards:

This Michigan beauty was created by team member Deb Saaranen.

Deb actually used all 3 stamp sets and both die sets in our Michigan Series to create this card.

To create this card Deb first stamped the robin, fish and deer onto her base sheet of cardstock, colored them with Copics, and then created a mask for them. Once masked she went on to create the watery background by blending Distress Oxide Inks and finally splattering with water.

What could be a more perfect background for the State of Michigan – gorgeous and genius!!!

To create the die cut peninsulas, Deb colored them with Copics, cut them, and then cut 2 more layers from cardstock for that lovely dimensional look.

This card is 5.5″ square.

Deb used our Fishtail Sentiment Banners die set to cut the State Motto – note how she cut the end with the UP die shape, too – so fun

Michigan was cut with a Spellbinders Classic Oval die.

Such a very pretty card and so reflective of Michigan!

Thanks so much, Deb!

We have another lovely card to share created by Guest Designer Dawn Barrett. This one uses only the Lower Peninsula, which is Dawn’s home. Take a look:

I simply {{{adore}}} the HOME panel with the combined colors – so striking.

And did you notice what Dawn did with the map? She actually stamped it onto and cut it from a real map.

Such a great idea and what a fun option when using these map shaped stamps and dies!

I also love how she cut the mat layer in blue and offset it – beautiful!

I always {{{love}}} how just a bit of red makes things POP so nicely, and it surely does here.

The fishtail accent is cut from our Fishtail Sentiment Banners die set while the small hearts are included in the Lower Peninsula die set (they are some of the map markers).

A fun card with some fun ideas!

Thanks so much, Dawn!

We will be posting morning and evening today, Monday and Tuesday to load you up with more Michigan card samples, so please stay tuned!
