We are here this evening to share a couple of FAB quick, clean and simple cards Deb made with a patriotic theme. Deb is calling these cards a 2 for 1, and you’ll see why below. Take a look:

After creating the diagonal background for the first card, Deb then took the largest star die and cut out the star, which then becomes the focal point of the 2nd card.

Deb then created the gold/white star to cover up the hole, or negative space, in the first card.

I LOVE this idea – how clever and what FAB cards were the result.

These fun patriotic papers are from the America paper pad by Echo Park.

WOW – have we all been having a fun time with this paper pad – it’s a keeper, for sure!

The sentiment within the star is from our HOPE stamp set.

This card comes across as more clean and simple with all the gorgeous white space.

The ink used on these cards is the Golden Glitz by Delicata.

Here we have a die cut star and the sentiment is from our Old Glory stamp set.

Again, a star on this inside and another sentiment from the Old Glory stamp set.

What a fun set of cards – both to make and to receive!
