We’ve invited a super talented designer to work with us here at Stamp Simply and we are so happy to introduce her to you today. Many of you may know her from her online work for various stamp companies and postings in a variety of online platforms over the years.

She has been a regular customer for a number of years and when we started spotting her beautiful work using our scripture sets we were totally blown away and knew we had to invite her to join our team!

Welcome to Julie Gearinger!

Julie’s cards are filled with color, texture and interest, all while sharing God’s word with the addition of beautifully scripted scripture stamps. Cards with a message worth sharing – we love that!

We are beyond happy to announce that Julie is now one of our design team members here at Stamp Simply! We are all super excited and know you’ll love seeing her work on a regular basis along with our other designers.

Now, let’s get back to Julie’s card for today.

As I said, she adds a lot of texture and interest to her work, giving it that bit of vintage flair which is always so appealing.

Julie used water based markers to color the floral from our Fall Flowers Floral Cluster which she combined with one of the scripture verses from our Christmas Peace stamp set cut with our Fishtail Sentiment Banners.

That is certainly a beautiful pairing of stamp sets!

The upper portion of Julie’s card is dry embossed and distressed, while the lower portion uses a beautiful woodsy sheet of paper from the Wonderful Autumn paper pad (and it truly is wonderful)!

Sandwiched in between is lovely satin ribbon and one of our FAV lacey dies by Tim Holtz (all linked below).

I love this particular flower shape as it can be colored in such a variety of colors to represent so many different flowers.

This is my personal FAV stencil of all time! Just love it. Julie used it with brown ink on the brown woodsy designer paper, so it is very, very subtle, but adds just a bit of extra to that sheet – just lovely!
