Good Tuesday morning. Esther is here today with a super lovely clean and simple sympathy card. Clean and simple is not Esther’s typical style, but she totally knocked it out of the park!  She likes a lot of texture, which she still added, but in a delightfully fresh way! This is such a beautiful sympathy card. Take a look:

Esther used Sonnet Watercolors to paint the tulip from our Get Well Tulip set, adding a very soft light blue wash as the backdrop.

The beautiful sentiment is from our Sympathy Sentimets Set 2 stamp set.

The barnwood textured background was done with the Lumber embossing folder from Tim Holtz.

I love the fresh look of the white barnwood.

The ribbon Esther used is one of my long time favorites and so lovely on this card.

I love it on the white embossed barnwood!

It is the 1.5″ Wrinkled Edge Sheer by May Arts. It makes beautiful bows for those more vintage/shabby cards but works equally as well on a clean and simple card such as this!
