To Every Thing There is a Season – by Julie Gearinger

Good Saturday morning. Julie shares a lovely scripture card today. She uses the well-known verse from Ecclesiastes 3:1 on the card front and it is so very perfect with the sunflower.
So pretty. I love the soft blue stenciled background.
It was done with a stencil by Tim Holtz called Flourish.
If you look closely, you can see that the white layer under the stenciled layer is dry embossed using a folder by Darice called Wire Fence.
Both the sunflower and the sentiment are from our set called Sunflower Season.
I love this verse from scripture, so much so that we took some liberty and added a second option to finish off the verse.
“To every thing there is a season… make the best of this one.”
That’s a fun option available when using this set!
And burlap and sunflowers – they just seem to go together – wouldn’t you agree!
