Good morning! It’s the weekend in the middle of summer. What better to do than go fishing, or if that’s not your thing then you could stay home and play with beautiful papers by Graphic 45. And that’s just what Deb chose to do. She has two wonderful cards to share here today that both use papers by Graphic 45. One card has a fishing theme and was made as a retirement card while the other card is a lovely poinsettia card for Christmas.

As much as this card pulls in the eye and is loaded with interest, it’s a super quick make – and we love that!

Those great sea themed papers are from Catch of the Day by Graphic 45.

Deb used the fun 1.5″ Striped Grosgrain by May Arts as a border accent and to create a medallion type feature.

A bit of Burlap String by May Arts is added to the medallion for a fun touch.

Deb used Michigan Facts from our Michigan Series for both sentiments on the card front.

The sentiments were cut with Spellbinders Standard Circles and our Fishtail Sentiment Banners.

The card inside is beautifully coordinated to the card front.

The retirement sentiment is from All Occasion Sentiments Set 2 by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.
