Gift baskets are always a big hit year round, but at Christmas they come out in full force, and for good reason. Deb created a gift basket today with bird lovers in mind; however, the jars in this basket could be filled with whatever it is your gift recipient might appreciate. This is such a fun project and those jars could hold any number of items. Totally LOVE this project!

Deb created lid covers for 2 small mason type jars, rested them in the basket and surrounded them with cheery red tissue paper. The jars could hold jams, jellies or any of your canned produce. Even Christmas candies might be nice! Deb thought she might fill one with peanut butter, another with birdseed, and add some pinecones and string so the recipient can have the fun of making their own bird feeder. What a GREAT idea!!!

The tag Deb made to present with the gift basket is over the top gorgeous and goes along with the bird theme.

The background Joy to the World is from Scripty Background Minis Set 2 by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The Merry Christmas greeting is from All Season Decor by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The Merry Christmas greeting is cut with Fishtail Sentiment Banners by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

Deb used Spellbinders Standard Circles to cut the jar top covers, decorating the smallest.

She stamped the Joy to the World background from Scripty Background Minis Set 2 by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

Atop that she stamped the musical notes from God Will Take Care of You by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The designer paper used on all pieces is from Sending Joy by Studio Light.

Deb also used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Kaisercraft Pearls, and May Arts Burlap String in Red.

She also used Distress Inks, Copic markers for coloring and white acrylic paint for splatters.

The first set has irregular edges, some words only partially printed, a tattered look in areas, etc, to give the appearance of old, torn papers or pages.

The text on the backgrounds in the second set are full and complete and may be used as background stamps or foregound sentiments, whatever you prefer.
