Tag Trio Made from Scraps – by Julie Gearinger
Those scrap pieces sure pile up when we get to creating. I think you all know what I mean. Julie is sharing a trio of gorgeous Christmas tags today using up the scrap strips left over from a previous project. I LOVE this idea, the project is gorgeous, and no one would ever know that scraps are being used – total WIN!! (And remember, use code SSCS15 for 15% OFF all Stamp Simply stamps/dies.)
And how pretty are these!
Note the designer paper scrap strips in the width she had left over. Julie added die cut or real lace to fill in the extra space.
The lovely designer paper is from Sending Joy by Studio Light.
The 1st and 3rd tags use the star and sentiments from Merry Christmas by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.
The center tag uses a sentiment from Christmas Peace by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.
The tag shape is cut with Tag Collection by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).
The lace is cut with Crochet by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).
The narrow lace is May Arts Narrow Crochet Lace.
Julile used May Arts Metallic Gold String for the ties on the tags.
Julie also used Kaisercraft Pearls, VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Pen.
