Poinsettia Inspiration by Stamp Simply

Published by at 7 50 am under Uncategorized

Good Sunday morning. We finally got our tree up and I am in the mood to decorate! If I had to pick one favorite holiday decor item, aside from the Christmas tree, it would most definitely be a beautiful poinsettia plant. They are large, showy, come in a variety of colors and add so much Christmas cheer. (Our entire store is 20% OFF now with code DECEMBER20.)

This morning we will be sharing a variety of poinsettia cards using the Winter Poinsetta from our Floral Cluster Series.

The unique aspect of this series of 4 stamp sets is that 1 die cuts the florals from all 4 of the stamp sets in the series. Yes, that is right – 4 stamp sets all work with 1 die set! We try to keep it easy and cost effective!

You can see how large and easy to color our Winter Poinsettia is! The curved shape of our clusters fit around ovals, circles and also nest nicely into corners.

Deb colored the image with Copic markers.

She used a lovely sentiment from Christmas Peace on this card.

That gorgeous paper is from Festive Flora by Craft Consortium.

On this card the Winter Poinsettia is stamped onto watercolor paper in a lighter colored ink and then watercolored with distress inks.

The die cut sprigs and sentiment are all included in the same Winter Poinsettia stamp/die combination.

I love the striking red atop all those beautiful white layers!

Now here is a totally FUN project!

The cup shaped card base is cut with our A Cup of Java die set, cut so that it is a top folding card.

The poinsettia, die cut sprigs and sentiment are all included in the Winter Poinsettia stamp/die combination.

The sentiment is cut with our Fishtail Sentiment Banners die set.

Deb colored with Copic markers.

Here’s another card with a fun twist!

Holly added her Winter Poinsettia to the card bottom for a fun change!

Holly likes to add white dots to her Copic colored poinsettias with a white pen.

The sentiment is from Wonder of Christmas Sentiments.

That fun paper is still available in our Winter Christmas Papercrafting Kit #4 – Lumberjack Christmas.

Holly loves to create holiday cards in non-traditional colors and I LOVE that she does!

That deep blue Winter Poinsettia is just stunning.

The beautifully scripted sentiment is from Christmas Peace.

The starry background paper is from Silent Night by Echo Park.

Are you gifting anything in a bottle this year?

This bottle tag by Jill is super fun, easy to make and so very IMPRESSIVE!

That Copic colored Winter Poinsettia is just stunning on this tag.

The die cut sprigs included in the die set are a wonderful addition.

The sentiment is from Wonder of Christmas Sentiments.

And here’s a very simple, quick to make card that has an elegant appeal in metallic gold and white.

The floral and sentiment from our Winter Poinsettia are gold embossed.

Jill chose some metallic gold papers as her decorative strips.

Beautiful! Quick, easy and flat for mailing, too!

Here’s another fun coffee themed card.

Michelle stamped her Winter Poinsettia directly onto the cup and colored with Copics.

I am loving the black accents on this card!

The sentiment is also included in our Winter Poinsettia stamp set.

Those fun fishtail strips were cut using our Fishtail Sentiment Banners die set.

The background paper is from Wood Textures by Craft Consortium.

Michelle made this set using each of the stamp sets in our Floral Cluster Series.

Making a set of cards for a little gift is a labor of love that is always so appreciated.

What a striking set of cards, so easily made and so appealing. And flat for mailing, too!

I have a real fondness for stripes, so needless to say, this card by Sheri speaks to me!

The red on the black and white is so very crisp and eye-catching.

The poinsettia, sprigs and sentiments are all from our Floral Cluster Series.

That fun striped paper is from Paisley Days by Kaisercraft.

This fun card by Esther came together quickly using a great pad of designer paper.

The paper pad used is Home for Christmas by Carta Bella.

Layers of papers in fabulous prints are topped with our Winter Poinsettia.

Fabulous, fun and flat for mailing! Total WIN!

Julie created a beautiful background on this card by white embossing the poinsettia onto red cardstock.

She then stamped and fussy cut just the central floral from our Winter Poinsettia for her focal image.

Once again, the beautifully scripted sentiment is from Christmas Peace.

This card is 1 of 5 similar cards Julie made using the Stack and Cut Quilt Technique.

Our Winter Poinsettia serves as the focal image atop a beauifully vinage backdrop.

And again, the beautifully scripted sentiment is from Christmas Peace.

The quilted background design was dry embossed using the Script embossing folder by Darice.

And you can find a variety of ribbons and lace here to add vintage charm to any project!
