Most often we take a stamp and create what it was obviously intended for. But then there are those times that we look at a stamp and our mind sees something totally different. Holly created one of those thinking out of the box projects for today. She used our row of books and very easily turned them into a row of birdhouses with the simple addition of some roofs. Super cute!

How darling is this! See the books with little peaky roofs added?

Holly brightly colored the row of books and added detail with a black Sharpie and white gel pen.

She cut narrow strips of black paper to create the roofs, adding the heart shaped enamel dots at the peak.

The books are from A Man of Knowledge by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The sign was created using All Season Decor by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

That perfect printed paper is from My Favorite Spring by Echo Park.

Holly hand cut the grass and drew in the subtle clouds.

Baker’s Twine was added as a fun accent.

She stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic markers.
