The Stockings Were Hung – by Deb Felts

Published by at 6 00 am under Uncategorized

Deb always puts so much thought and detail into her cards and the card she shares with us today is a prime example. The fireplace scene that Deb created is not missing a single detail and we have a lot of close up photos so you can appreciate each and every one of those perfectly appointed details. This is a slimline style card. Let’s take a look:

Take a minute to look – brick fireplace with doors, mantel with holiday greenery, stocking hung with care and the perfect wall decor above the mantel.

The overall effect comes together so easily using the perfect patterned papers:

Brick Textures by Craft Consortium created the fireplace.

Black cardstock and Bazzill Gold Mirror cardstock were used to create the fireplace doors.

Under the Gum Leaves by Kaisercraft is perfect for the mantel and above – ON SALE!

Tartan Plaid by Craft Consortium makes for the perfect Christmas stockings – NEW!

The stocking was created using Christmas Stockings and Mittens by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

Spellbinders Rectangles Dies were used to create the fireplace and doors.

The sentiment on the wall hanging is also from Christmas Stockings and Mittens by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The board creating the wall decor is from All Season Decor by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps – ON SALE!

Deb used May Arts Burlap String for the wall decor hanger.

And here is the perfectly finished card inside – carrying on with that warm and cozy feeling.

Both sentiments and the snowflakes are from Christmas Stockings and Mittens by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The upper sentiment is cut with Fishtail Sentiment Banners by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The coffee cup is from Have a Cup on Us by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

Thanks so much, Deb, for this truly warm and cozy Christmas card – super, super fun!!!
