Fall Fun – by Karen Letchworth

This project by Karen reminded me of all the fun and good things that come with the autumn season – the beautiful and colorful landscape, pumpkins, hot drinks (whatever they may be) and that warm and cozy feel we get from a warm sweater or cuddly quilt. Karen made a card, decorated the envelope to match and also made a coordinating gift tag, so we have a lot to look at.

This is the complete ensemble with Karen’s distinct vintage vibe!

It adds so much interest, so simply, when we use decorated paper on the inside of the envelope.

The decorative papers used on this project are from Welcome Autumn by Carta Bella.

The decorative banners were cut with Fishtail Sentiment Banners by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

That is such a fun die set for adding these simple fishtail tags. They add a ton of interest and color.

The coffee cups are from Have a Cup on Us by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The sentiment and pumpkins are from Welcome Fall by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

A good die set to cut tags is Tag Collection by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

Karen used Baker’s Twine and sequins as fun accents.

Karen machine stitched around the perimeter – I always LOVE that!

The coffee cup set used gives us so many options. Note that Karen colored and stamped a sentiment onto one cup and snipped off the handle, while she cut the other cup from designer paper and added an extra strip with pumpkins for added interest.

Have a Cup on Us by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps
