Yesterday I made a quick sympathy card that I loved for many reasons. I think it conveyed the intended message perfectly, it was a quick make, plus it is a design suitable for either gender. The designer paper and cardstock on this card has a light pink tint, but using a sheet with blue or green from the same pad makes for a perfect card with a more masculine feel.

This is a standard A2 sized card that is flat for mailing.

The tall wheat images are from Autumn Silhouettes by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The wheat images are stamped in grey ink onto the pinkish sheet of designer paper.

The paper is from the subtle and beautiful Baroque by Craft Consortium.

Sympathy is cut 3 times and stacked using Sympathy Word Die by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The inside sentiments are from Sympathy Sentiments SET 1 by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

A very tragic situation where a young wife and mother left this world far sooner than planned.

Truly, there were no words – but all were able to rejoice as they know she is in her heavenly home.
